POP3 not starting

For some reason, and I've tried everything I can think of, I can't get the Pop3 Protocol to start on my exchange 2003 box. It is running on W2K3 and I am not sure if something in that is screwing it up.

What's the error event you're getting in your event log when you try and start the service?
