Im having difficulty conferencing more than 3 people in on a polycomm conference phone. I can bridge it to a digital phone and get 6 people in on a conference but this is a lot of messing around. Can anyone explain why I get a busy signal when bringing in a fourth party. On this particular phone you have ti use the 'R' button or flash button to bring in each party.

You can only conference 2 other parties on an analog line. You can do what you already know, and conference 6 on the digital set, and then transfer the call to the polycom or you can get a digital polycom. The only difference between the standard digital and analog soundstaions are the power adapters. You can turn an analog soundstation into a digital by ordering a replacement "digital" power supply for about $70. -CL

i didn't know you could buy such an adaptor -thanks!
For the station template what station type could be used once the phone had been set up with a digital adaptor?

The new adapter plugs into the external speaker port on the bottom of any digital set. It has no programming of it's own, it just acts as an external speaker an dialpad. -CL
