Polycom Soundpoint IP335

We have an opportunity to install a UCx for a customer that currently is using 8x8 virtual office Hosting. They have Polycom Soundpoint IP335 sets at all their desks today. Sales person is not sure but thinks the customer owns the phones and thus wants to use them on the UCx. My thought is that we should be able to default the phones, if I can find out how, and then reprogram them for registration with the UCx.

Has anyone done something similar? I did run across a Polycom Ip phone phone before that was used with a Hosted carrier and could not get it to default.

Thoughts?
