Polycom IP 6000 Install

I am trying to get a Polycom IP 6000 set working on an IPO 500 v2. I have done everything by the book but I cannot get it to registar and work. Also, I have checked and I have a valid 3rd Party IP Endpoint licence.
In the System Status
I get a Login failed due to incorrect user id/password.
I have changed user id's and passwords but I get the same error each time.
This is what I see in the monitor.

What password are you using? And the username is usually actually the extn number

I am using the password that I set for the login code under the supervisor settings tab.
I have tried the extension number and the user name that I programmed into the system.

I dont know what changed but I went through the configuration once again, the same way I have done it the past 3 times, and it worked this time.

Well it worked for a few minutes. After it was working I went into the LAN1 tab and turned off the Auto-create Extn/User just like it says to in the set up. After this change I saved the configuration (it was and Immediate Config Reboot Mode). The phone quit working.

Any Ideas?

the password wont be the hotdesk password you set it will be the password used under their Name on the first screen of the user TAB.

I ended up having to put the password into both places to make it work.

Go figure. Nothing is ever by the book these days.
