Poll: build a kind of OTM advanced software

I was thinking to build a kind of OTM advanced software to program the Meridian 61c and 11c with some basic thing for now like:
- Automatic change DN´: you have to write the DN and name, my "super procom" will go to ld 95 make an out statement and write the dn itself and so on and so forth.

- Check T1 channel status: If some channel is lock or the T1 is down it will send an email to me automatically...

Do you think its a good idea for right now, does this software exist?

..and if you are running in a CS 1000E configuration and have Element Manager, then you get a lot of this for "free".

What about T1 down notification using Email and cell (SMS) notification, exist a program for that? Tell me please some good advice about what can I build?

We use IRISnGEN + Netpath, and It does SMS notification. But then again we monitor hundreds of sites for our customers.

If you have a service/monitoring contract with someone you might want to ask them to set this up for you.

It would be better if there was a replacement for Procomm that was as easier to use.

I think procomm is a very easy program to use! Plus with the aspect scripting it makes life alot easier to build or change phones!
