Does anyone know of a utility that will read the settings from within ntconfig.pol....????

I believe that regedt32 can do it. Try "load hive" and point to ntconfig.pol.

Use policy editor. Open this particular file. And that's it.

Looking for a utility that will read the settings from within the .adm files within each policy and generate a user friendly print-out of each setting...???!!!

Lagerwiej is right. I was thinking of ntuser.dat (the profile not the policy).

As far as printing out the adm files, I know there is a utility in the resource kit for creating your own adm files. Maybe that would work for you. I cant remember what it is called at the moment.

Not much help, sorry.
