Policy-Map for Cisco 3550 -- Does it work?

If you've gotten your service-policy to work on a Cisco 3550, reply to this. I can't get a simple service policy to work input nor output.

I've gotten the same policy to work for my 2900. I need the 3500 to work because it will limit bandwidth.
 
In the event you check this thread... the model 3550 we have is SMI which doesn't support bandwith rate limiting.
 
In that case why not flash it with an EMI image? the SMI platforms support upgrade to EMI without any special hardware. I know that the EMI Do support bandwidth limiting.

it does work.. but only works egress to the port.
