I haven't been able to find the answer, even on Microsoft's website... So, I've come to the experts!

Anybody know if Pocket Access is compatible with the HP Jornada 568 Pocket PC? I know it is with the Jornada 700 Series but nobody seems to be able to tell me regarding the 568!! Pocket Word and Pocket Excel is standard software under the Microsoft Outlook PC 2002 package, but no word on Access.

I use Access both professionally and personally on a rather extensive basis and the lack of Pocket Access on the Pocket PC would make the Pocket PC somewhat "unusable".

Thanks all for any help you can offer!

You can copy an Access database to your pocket pc using Activesync. Activesync will convert it to a cdb file which is a Pocket Access file. Only tables are copied not forms or reports. Although there is no Pocket Access program on the Pocket PC, there are numerous programs out there that will let you work with the cdb file on the Pocket PC. Search and you should find lots.

Activesync will also give you the option of keeping the cdb file synchronized with the desktop Access database. So any changes you make on either the desktop or the Pocket PC will be synced each time you connect.
