Please suggest good monitor calibration software 2

Greetings,

I've realized the reason colors on the screen are printing so differently from how they look is that my monitor is not calibrated correctly. The monitor distributor supplies no user manuals. Their tech support suggested the buttons on the front of the display, but these adjustments are too limited.

Do any of you suggest a particular software for calibration? Free or cheap would be great. I have a Sun/Sony Triniton GDM 5010.

Thanks. Yes, I google enthusiastically, but wasn't sure what I could trust, and hoped someone out there had successfully used a particular software package. But I'll try the free one you found.

You can create a colour profile with either Nvidia or ATI graphics cards and probably other brands as well.
By using the latest Nvidia drivers, for instance:
Go: R click on desktop, properties, settings, advanced and then to the the name of the card ie:Geforce4 MX 440
This will present basic colour profiling capabilities.
