I am having a spuratic email problem. I do not receive email from certain domains. I do not have them blocked or filtered. My MX, A, and coniacial records appear in order both locally and at the ISP level. I host six domain names on one Exchange server, but only one has an incoming problem.

Please send an email to testme@phoenixmark.com
if you receive an error or return message, please send the error, with your mail server error, if possible to;
exchangetest123@hotmail.com

These emails will only work until Jan 30, 2001, and I don't allow mail forwarding !

I am looking as to why some email gets refused and some gets through.

Draq,

You have a dual MX record set up for Phoenix. That is why you are getting a problem.

phoenixmark.com. 0S IN MX 5 mail.phoenixmark.com.
phoenixmark.com. 0S IN MX 20 relay.cioe.com.

You need to check if both of these are correct and setup correcetly locally.

Actually I have the two mail servers weighted differently. One is set at 5 and the other is 20. This allows me a fail-over if the first server goes down. Do you suggest different config or weights?
