Hi Everyone who reads this ![[wavey] [wavey] [wavey]](/data/assets/smilies/wavey.gif)
I'd like to plead for EVERYONE to be more descriptive when writing their subject headings:
"Carefully word the title of the thread to reflect the problem. This makes it more likely to attract the attention of those who actually know the answer. It will also allow others in the future to find your question (and answer) by using the search engine." (from How To Post A "Good" Question)
I've noticed lately a lot of "VBA - Help!" and "URGENT! Please Help Me Fix Excel!!!" type headings - no names, no pack drill - you know who you are!![[wink] [wink] [wink]](/data/assets/smilies/wink.gif)
Just today I searched for a keyword, but the Search Engine spewed out 100's of potential answers! Too many to plough through in the hope that one of them might contain the snippet I needed.
I was about to ask the question, but paused to glance at one or two "VBA Problem" ones, and Glory Be! there was the answer I needed, right under my nose! If that query had had a descriptive title, I could have searched under Headings instead of Whole Text, and come up with the goods almost instantly.
Just my $0.02 worth, and no offence intended, but please try to help us all learn by following this simple 'rule'![[thumbsup2] [thumbsup2] [thumbsup2]](/data/assets/smilies/thumbsup2.gif)
Cheers, Y'all
Chris
