'Please mount a blank media to continue the backup'

I have Arcserve 9.0 Build 2052 running on Windows 2003 Server.

When I run a Full backup at the weekend, after a certain amount of time, a message appears saying 'Please mount a blank media to continue the backup'

There are six tapes Mounted already and it only appears to write to one tape.

If I click 'Ok' the same message keeps appearing.

Any ideas??

Try doing a Quick Erase Plus on one of the tapes prior to running the job.

Are you sending to virtual tape or physical tape?

It's going to a physical DLT tape

If you go to the media tab, is there any tape in there that in the scratch or are they all in the save? Maybe your overwrite setting isn't set correctly.
