Ok, this is driving me MENTAL! GRR!

My laptop will not connect to my home PC!

When I try to Map a network drive Vista asks for a password, and there isn't one!

How do I get round this please?

Oh, I have another PC in the house (windows 7) and Mapping a network drive is as simple as saying map network drive/browse... Job done!! I hate vista with a passion!!

Thanks in advance,

Kutter

Can your Laptop see the other computers on the home network?

Is Network Discovery turned on in the Network Sharing Center of all machines?

Do your home PC's have users with passwords rather than just blank passwords? If not can you create an Admin user with a password and then test Mapping a drive from your Laptop.
