Please help!!, with duel booting win98 and win98

A friend of mine has 98 on his system and has purchased a second copy of 98,, but in Rushian ( for his Rushian wife) He has asked me if i can set his computer up to duel boot them. Does anyone out there no how i go about this?? All help is greatly appreciated

As far as I know it wil not be possible because the big difference between win98 US and win98 Russian is only the language. The underlying programming is exactly the same. The problem with dual booting then will be stating two different Program Files directories and two different start-up files etc. Which will not work. BEst he can do maybe is get a removable hard disk and swap the disks when he wants the other language.

You can easiler dual boot between those two operating systems. First, create two partitions. Each partition will hold one operating system, obviously. Next you will need a boot loader, I suggest you find one at

I use partition magic and the included boot magic to accomplish this.
Partition magic will allow you to repartition without reinstalling everything to free up enough space to allow the second partition.
Then you create a menu for bootup, and choose the OS and partition to use.
