The diary has a memo field that hold the information to it, and the memo field is contained in the foxuser table. Is it possible you are not using a foxuser table (or you SET RESOURCE OFF in your main program)?

As the message indicates, the calendar (and the calculator among others) get and store values in the FOXUSER.DBF (the resource file). If you have SET RESOURCE OFF, or the file has been marked read-only, or you've included it in the .EXE, these FoxPro built-ins won't work properly (or at all!).
