I'm using Windows 2000 with Office XP. After a re-imaged a laptop I was working on I opened a shapshot file with no problem. However, after carefully setting up windows (opening programs, etc.) the same shapshot file wouldn't open. I made sure to check the file after each thing I did, and it worked. Turned it on/off and it still worked. And then all of a sudden for no particular reason I began to get the following error whenever I tried to open the same shapshot file - "an error occured while opening a snapshot file". I've loaded the latest version of snapshot (10.0) and a patch I found on Microsoft's website, however, I still can't get them to open. If anyone has an idea as to how I can fix this problem, please let me know.
