Hi,

I have a big problem with public folders permissions.

I have an old NT domain with ex5.5 and a new AD domain.
I made a trust between the old and new dmain.
I have 100 users in the old domain.
I manually created the 100 users in the ActiveDirectory and made them to PRIMARY mailbox (exchange5.5) user.

The old NT accounts I put into the permissons tab, so that the NT domain user could work with the mailboxes too.

Ok, then I installed the ADC.
(the ADC didn´t created disabled users, because I already had the AD-users manually created)

Then I moved the mailboxes and public folders.

All AD - users can work perfektly with the new exchange 2003.

But my old NT users cannot access the PUBLIC FOLDERS.
Outlooks says "the public folder cannot be displayed"
under permissions, I say some entries like
"NT USER: domain\testuser" insted of a mailbox username.

what can I do?
pleae help!

im answering from memory so...

go in proporties on each public folder, under replication, add the new exchange server.

wait a good while, like a day or 2 depending how much data. when all has been replicated to new server old one can be decomissioned.

thanks for aour answer,

but it isn´t a replication problem.

all servers already have the replica.
