PLEASE HELP!!! Can't attach files to my email...

My OS is windows 2000.
I cannot attach any files to my yahoo email account, mail.com account or any other email accounts I have.
I can enter the email accounts to view my emails, but when I want to attach a letter, the attachment will not show up, or just go to an error page.
I have been with this problem for a month.
PLEASE HELP!!!!
