I've been using the windows Media Player componant, which for me supports AVI & MPEG files
Place the control on the form, and a set of the commnds includes:
MediaPlayer.Open strFileName
MediaPlayer.Stop
MediaPlayer.Pause
Also included are options like
MediaPlayer.Displaysize = mpFullScreen
MediaPlayer.CurrentPosition
and a whole host more!
