Play AVI from module

I would like to create a custom menu to play avi files using whichever player is resident in the operating system of the client machine. Anyone know how to approach this?

Take a look at the following site, which details how to use API functions in Access to view/play multimedia files (AVI/WAV/MIDI etc and whatever other formats are installed on the computer).
