Place subreports in Main report 1

Hi

I am using Crystal Reports 10
I have two sub reports Report1 and Report2 in the Main report, in a group header
Now I need to insert Report2 below Report1.

The thing is , Report1 is running into 30 or 40 pages
and cannot determine exactly where I need to place
the Report2

Can someone please suggest

You should insert another group header section (group header_b) and place the second subreport there. It will automatically follow the end of the first subreport then.

From the Report Designer, right click on the Group header on the left and Insert Section below and place report2 in it.

I am able to insert the reports, one below the other as you mentioned..
But there is some problem

There seems to be some loss of data in the reports.
Some of the data seems to be missing
IF the reports were run individually the data is correct..
IF they are placed in group sections one below the other.. some of the values are showing blank values

Can you please suggest the reason

Actually I knew what the problem was
The report1 itself has a sub report rep_sub
built in it
When I am trying to insert the Report1 as a sub report
into the Main report , the sub report within the sub report
(ie sub_rep) is not getting inserted
Hence there was a data loss
What should I do to insert a sub report so that
the sub reports contained within it are successfully imported

You cannot have subreports within subreports. You might try to save the subreport (that is currently within the original subreport) as a separate subreport to be added to the main report along with the original subreport.

Hi,
Crystal does not support sub-reports INSIDE other sub-reports ( a sub-sub-report)..

Add more sections and place each subrepoprt in a section of its own..
