Hi all,

I just configured a Pix Firewall 525 using CSPM 2.3f, I even configured the access-list for the interfaces to talk to each other, and all the necessary steps were made, but the problem is whenever from outside i want to ping the outside interface or even telnet to a server in the DMZ it doesnt work!!! when i see the log it says Built session when i telnet to that server, but from my side i see connection to the host lost. and whenever i try to ping the server i get a request timeout i dont know what is missing!!!! please help.

If you could post your configuration it would be easier to determine the problem(s). Thre could be issues with the nat statements, access-list/group statements, etc.

Thanks

according to the CSPM the routes are all set the implicit ones and the ones that are needed, bcuz today is weekend for us i will post the config tomorrow. i really cant get the problem with it.
