Hi,
I have a problem with pix 515E.
It has two interfaces. Ethernet1 is for inside and ethernet0 is for outside. Ethernet1(inside interface) is broadcasting ARP for inside network IPs and this is ok.
Problem is that Ethernet0(outside interface) is broadcasting arp for public IP addresses to inside network. It's barking on a wrong tree..:-(.. How can I disable this broadcasting?
I've been searching google for related problem with no help.
thanks in advance.
Here is the capture for the broadcasting. 67.109.*.* is my pix IP.
# capture arp ethernet-type arp interface inside
# show capture arp
15:09:05.123437 arp who-has 0.145.75.240 tell 67.109.*.*
15:09:05.127205 arp who-has 211.60.175.165 tell 67.109.*.*
15:09:05.128167 arp who-has 68.167.142.174 tell 67.109.*.*
