My problem is similar to an above post...
I am trying to authenticate on a Win2k server on the internal side of a PIX 501... I have set up several of my other clients with this same solution (Without a PIX.) It is a pretty straight forward process... I setup RAS to accept incoming connections and open port 1723 on the Firewall.... I did the same in this scenario, I can telnet to port 1723 on the public IP no problem. But when I make a pptp connection it gets as far as "verifying username and password" and then times out... "Error 721: The remote computer is not responding."
Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong??
Thanks,
Rory
