Hello World!

OK
With a pivot chart
I can hide field buttons manually - Right click then hide
I can hide them with code - ActiveChart.HasPivotFields = False
I can unhide or show them again with code - ActiveChart.HasPivotFields = True

How do I unhide them manually????

[ponder] If a man says something and there are no women there to hear him, is he still wrong?

In the Pivot Table Toolbar, drag and drop the field where it would be.

Not 100% the answer I was looking for but it put me in the right direction!

From the Pivot Table toolbar, click on pivot chart and the option is there to hide or unhide the field buttons.

I was using a shortcut menu from the actual buttons to hide them but once they were gone, so was the menu!!

STOP PRESS
better than that there's a button on the toolbar!! Can't see the wood for the trees, me!

;-) If a man says something and there are no women there to hear him, is he still wrong?

That Hide/Unhide button didn't work for me.
