Hello -
Not sure if I should post here, but thought I'd give it a shot anyways....maybe there are some known issues out there. I have a WindowsMe system that is behind a firewall. It can ping everything inside the fw, and everything outside it on the local network.....except the router where our T-1 connection comes in. I have uninstalled and reinstalled tcp/ip to no avail. When I place it outside the firewall, it works fine. I thought at first it was a translation issue with the firewall, but when I give it a different ip address ( of a known working ip behind the firewall), it still doesn't work. I am just short of upgrading to windows 2000....any thoughts before I do this?
