Someone showed me how you could have a picture box within a text box in such a way that if you made changes in the text (i.e. Style Sheet changes) the picture box would flow with the changes, not stay in it's position. I was only able to learn the Copy & Paste part of it (so it could be easily repeated; Item tool: Copy, Content tool: Paste), but not the basic method. This was done in Quark 4.1. Anyone know how to do this and also, does it work in 4.04?

You have this procedure correct. You are creating an Inline picture box, that is a picture box embedded as content of a text box.

Note that your text box must be bigger than the box you are pasting or you'll just have endless overflows. (Nery puzzling until you figure it out.)

As far as I know, this technique works as far back as QuarkXpress 3.x, and will probably work just fine in version 5.x, though I haven't tested it.

You can also do this with text boxes in-line, to put a multicolumn box in a single-column text flow, for example.

Thanks, George,
You made me realize that I did understand it. I thought there was more to it to get to the Copy & Paste part, but I tried it on my own and it works. Thanks for the extra pointers, too.
