Pics not showing up on another pc - how do I force it to refresh? 1

Hi

I updated my website on my pc at home, and when I went to check the page on another pc (which uses windows 98), the item I uploaded is not showing on the other pc.

Someone once told me to press a couple keys, and that would force my browser to refresh, but I have forgotten how to do this

Does anyone know how to do this?

hitting the f5 key will refresh the web page loaded in internet explorer. but i suggest you remove the internet cache first before doing so. open internet explorer, go to tools menu, select internet options... and under the general tab, click delete files... button. after that, you may hit the f5 key.

I tried what you suggested, it did not work though

I know my files are up on the server cause I can see them on my pc that they are definitely uploaded

Is there another trick I can use?

That doesn't mean they uploaded. Right click the pictures and select "properties". If they show the file path to your hard drive, then they are not uploaded. The file path should be to the web address and not the C drive.
