A picture on my website previews perfectly in Dreamweaver, but when I upload it onto the internet - the bottom of the picture is cropped. I have re-imported the picture several times, but it still does it.

There are other pics on the page that are unaffected - just this one.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Can you give a bit more detail or a link to the site so we can look at the code.

Thanks Cheech the link is : I have not named the pages properly - I will try and sort that out later, but if you go into The Uk Market, it is the first picture that is causing the problem!

Thankyou

Your div tag has a different height setting to the image

I have a dreamweaver book - I looked up div tags and it says they are relative to layers. I have used a basic table in my webpage, not a layer - how can i change it?

I tried to right click and 'save image as...'

The image saves but it appears to be an incomplete file. Your HTML may be fine.

Try opening the image in an image editor and resave it as an entirely new file. Then re-upload.

Thank you for taking the time to help me everybody!! Unfortunately it still doesn't work. I have resized and saved my pic in Photoshop and then saved it for web, then imported it into my table in dreamweaver. But it still has the bottom part of the pic missing.

I don't understand it - as I have done exactly the same with all the other images on the site - with no problems at all. Although I have experienced this problem on another site I created - this is still unresolved!!

Oh dear! If anyone has any other suggestions - I would be very grateful!!

PS. Khoury - mystery meat????? What are you talking about??

I just visited the site and looked at the image in UK MARKETS and I see the image right...
You mean the first image correct?? The image of THE ARIEL VIEW OF THE BIRMINGHAM NEC right?? The image named 'nec1.jpeg'?? Well, it comes out right...unless i'm missing something here... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Thanks for looking at the site GUJUm0deL - the bottom part of the NEC pic is missing - it's almost like it's cropped. The space between the titles and pics are all the same in DW.

When I preview it in DW it is fine - it only loses the bottom part of the pic when I upload! All the other pics are fine! It's very strange.

Okay everyone - panic over!!!! I re-imported the pic for the zillionth time - and it decided to work!! Who knows why??? I am not arguing!!

Thanks to everyone for your support!!

Here's your problem:

<td width=&quot;247&quot; height=&quot;137&quot;>
<div align=&quot;left&quot;><img src=&quot;nec.jpeg&quot; width=&quot;225&quot; height=&quot;148&quot;></div>

The table height is defined to 137 but the image height is 148, larger then the space alloted...remove the height attribute from the <td> tags and see what happens... I have not failed; I have merely found 100,000 different ways of not succeding...

Height setting different ... mmh (scroll, scroll, scroll) I think someone already said that...ah well, horses and water...[rednose] - &quot;Oops! I've joined a club that'll have me as a member?&quot; -
