phpnuke ported to Java

I found this link in my mailbox this morning

It talks about the porting of phpnuke on to Java. A further link in the page goes back to the original article which is an interesting read. I'd be interested in comments here in terms of ease of use, scale etc. They don't give much away on where they got problems e.g. was it disc i/o, should they have used zend etc

Can we learn something ??
 
I have only just quickly read the zdnet article but if they have created a java flavoured nuke then surely it can only be good. PHPNuke and PostNuke are good applications and by bringing the strengths of java to the functionality of the nuke family together, it could create an awesome website management system. Especially if their claims that its performance is 20 fold better than PHP/PostNuke.
It remains to be seen if this is really as good as they say.

We can always learn something!
