PHP tutorial 1

hi there,

can anybody give me a linkto a good php tutorial for beginners? i dont know anything about php but would like to study it. i need a tutorial that teaches me from scratch. i also need one that can be printed out in one time, since i found some tutorials with so many pages taht i have to go to all the pages and print them out one by one. reading so much text on screen makes me dizzy.

The only one that I've used is webmonkey's and it is good.

is also a very good resource as it lists every function with examples and has user contributed notes.
