How do i turn off the 'anti-alias' feature when using the Menu Command - Mask | Create from Objects.
I am aware that using the Mask Flyout Tool has the ability to turn anti-aliasing off, however, i can't seem to find a way to turn it off when creating a Mask from Object.
Basically i have an anti aliased object (which needs to be anti aliased against a complex background) and then cut or copied from that back ground with the original anti aliasing intact, so it can be floated over a similar background.
My original plan was to create the mask from object, then flatten the image (combine). then reload the mask and copy the selected area into a new image... however... as i said, when i use the menu command to Mask from Object, the object re-anti aliases itself against the new BG... instead of taking the old jags with it, which in this case i need it to do.
i tried various experiments using a simple object (the letter b) flattened onto a black BG, and then tried various methods of masking and copying it to a white BG. the only way it works without re antialiasing is if i use the flyout and turn anti alias off.
the actual object and BG is complex so i 'want' to be able to simply hit Mask Create from Object, but i cant because i cant seem to find a way to turn off the anti aliasing.
thanks in advance!!
