I've just downloaded the Phorum files and am getting nowhere fast. I ran the install script and it produced a drop down list to select a database. The list was blank but I clicked Submit anyway. Nothing happened for a bit, then an error was reported on line 22 of install.php

I'm playing with this stuff on a windows pc with php3 installed.

Is it going to work or is it specifically linux/apache?

Ok, obviously when they say run the install script, they mean /admin/index.php. Stupid of me not to realise.

I got right through to the bit that said congratulations, type in your username and password and I got a Doctor Watson (I'm using nt4) inetinfo crashed.


I'm not that impressed that Phorum uses cookies.

Do you know of any forum software that doesn't?
