phone won't ring, show vm

I have a user that recently had their dn added to another set in a different office. Since this has happened, her original set won't ring or show when there is a vmail. I thought that if would at least show vm on whatever set was teh MARP, but that's not the case... I have no clue as to why the orginal doesn't ring now.

This is due to the fact neither set has Key 0 defined as the DN, so the PBX has no way to determine which set should get the VM indication upadate. I am not sure about the ringing. Is it really necessary for this set to be on two ACD Agent sets? I would recommend removing the newer appearance, that way everything will work once again. There may be ways to work around this, but I have NEVER had success with this type of setup.

you can try a xmwk key for the mail light. the non ringing is a new one to me.

the non ring may be a symposiumn patch issue. you'll need a an xmk with both dn's being built like that
