PHONE STRAIGHT TO VM

This should be an easy one. I promise I will write it down.

How do I make a DN go straight to VM rather than ringing 4 times.

There are several ways:

1. Add a CFW key on the phone, and enable it with the voice mail as the target.

2. Build the DN as a phantom TN and set the DCFW to the voice mail.

3. Build the DN as an ACD with Maxp=1, and NCFW set to the voice mail.

Personally, I prefer option 2.

OK AM I MISSING IT. I LIKE OPTION 2 TOO BUT I AM NOT SEEING THE DCFW. Is it here & I am missing it? Do I add it as a key? YOU ALL ARE THE BEST!!! Mary

Option 2: you will only be able to use DCFW on a phantom which is analog, your best bet is to CHG, KEY 19 to CFW 4 4300

This isnt a real phone. It is just a DN & a TN. There is nothing to forward. It looks like for 4 rings, not one though. Wouldnt it be 19 cfw 1 4300? I tried the 19 cfw 4 4300 and I got sch 0356 error.

If it is not a real phone, then out the phone, and rebuild it as either a phantom TN, or ACDN.

the format for the CFW key is: key 19 cfw x y, where x is the number of digits allowed to be entered and y is the dialable dn of the target. This allows you to restrict the number of digits a user can enter to prevent them from forwarding their phone offsite for example.
