Hello All !

I upgraded my 4621SW IP to the very latest firmware 100107, and selected the SIP mode (i'm connecting to a non-avaya PBX).

The previous version had a sip_[mac_address].txt phone-specific file, including the lines SipName= SipPwd= , which seems to be no longer the case.... Everything is now in 46xxsettings.txt ... and no phone-specific file for SIP login/password ?....

A manual login (option/logout/then prompt"Ext.=") works, except I have to manually enter the login/password on the phone and only numbers are accepted, whereas the previous firmware using the sip text file was allowing letters in the login and password.

After doing a lot of research, the closest I have been is to find that you can now specify phone-specific sections in the 46xxsettings.txt by creating a block IF $MACADDR SEQ GOTO xxxx #end , but I am not sure of the syntax, and still don't know how to specify login/password !....

Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Thanks so much !
