Phone 30 Problem

The phone 30 ports are doing some weird stuff

1 You can Place calls using a normal Phone

2 You can send a fax through these ports

3 (2) pansonic faxes Can send and recive faxes but the cut some of the faxes sent and recived into 1/2 page of a 5 page document the first page is perfect

4 You cannot plug a laptop into the phone 30 module and connect to an ISP it tries dialing for 50+ secs and give you a remote computer response error.

5 you cannont dial into a system you are connected for 30 sec and then it drops off

Have you updated to the .44 load?

DT handsets will require the firmware release 3.0 (535) .
This is specifically for DT handset based systems

That is the software level that all 9 units have on them i think i might have a faulty Phone 30 all it allows are calls and faxes.


Modems internet call error
some fax machine panasonic's error
Remote dial in error to a pc or Harware unit.

Fixed the problem,


This Company had a 412 with 2 Dual PRI's


Inside the line properties all lines were set to network so i changed 3 of them to fallback and it worked.


faxes work 100%
modems work ok
