Phantom Digital Loop 4

I'm Trying to setup a Virtual Office phone and I need to creat a Digital Phantom Loop, How do I do that?

Thats what I was showing in my switch when I printed out my virtual sets:


When I go into LD 20 and LTN for 3904V (V= virtual terminal)I get:

DES JWVIRT (initials for user here)
TN 156 0 00 1 PHANTOM (SUPL listed as phantom superloop)
TYPE 3904V
CDN 8D

It's also what it says in the 3900 admin NTP:
Configure the Virtual Office Phantom loop
LD 97 – Configure a Phantom loop for the Virtual Office feature

Prompt Response Description
REQ CHG Change the loop configuration.
TYPE SUPL Superloops.
SUPL Naaa N = designates the superloop as a phantom loop.
aaa = designates the superloop number.

Phantom loops are for 500 type phones.
Virtual Phantom loops are for Digital and IP phones.

I just programmed 1 on my switch on the regular phantom loop. you just cant mix the same loop between 500's and 3904v's. ex 61-0 is 500, 61-1 can't be 3904v

OK I have V096 SUPL for my Virtual Phanton Loop, but what is the actual TN for that SUPL??

I tried 81, 82, 83, 96 and a bunch more.

Do I need to INI first before it will work?

on my N152 SUPL I have 500 types only and on N156 I have 3900 types only.

you need to make it N096 and then program on 61. V096 would be for ip sets

Well I'll be damed, I changed it to N096 and now it will take the 3904V.

Klowndog, you can mix them on the same phantom shelf but not the same phantom card, but your setup does make it less confusing.
