Personal-CO line.....I'm new at this so bear with me.
How do I get the Personal line to go to the station's vm
box. Right now it just rings til answered. Is there a
principal user setting that I missed.
Is the extension for the personal CO line the extension of the person's phone? If so, make sure the extension has a cover path on it that goes to voicemail. If the extension of the CO line is different, then you'll probably need to manually forward it to the extension of the person's phone. (Unless you have Vectors, in which case you could program it using that.)
There is an easy way to do this. Give the personal CO line a trunk access code, the same length as your extensions. (you may have define it in your dial plan as dac, I can't remember offhand). This is the ID is carried into VM. In Audix go to the auto attendant routing schedule. Enter the Personal CO Access code under the incoming called number. Assign a business schedule (the default one covers all hours) and enter the destination mailbox ( the extension of the set the Personal Co appears on) in the other 3 fields. Assign a coverage path in the Personal Co line form to VM. This works really well, we do it all the time. If you can't figure it out, send me an email & I'll send you an example to follow.

By the way, I'm assuming you have Audix/Intuity VM. If it's Octel, you need to set up a transfer mailbox using the trunk access code of the personal CO line to transfer the calls into the desired destination.
