Can anyone help. I am logged on as an administrator to Exchange and am trying to change our public all contacts folder. It will not let me, or anyone else modify any records. It is marked as a read only file.

All users here are part of the Domain Users group, whom I have given permission to modify the folder to. But Outlook won't allow it.

Can anyone help please

Kathy

Check folder permission on the exchange server. Administrator will not necessarly have permissions. Try using the exchange service account
