hi,

Have a probelem with exchange admin.

In my organiszation, I have the follwing permissions:

unknown account permissions admin
domain\myuser admin

I have the problem that I cannon change the rights.

I know, that the permissions-admin user was deleted a long time ago.

Can I change the permissions role without exchange administrator?

Log on with the service account, and use that to set new permissions.

sorry,

tried that already,
doesn´t work.

"insufficient access rights"

Who took the service account out of the permissions list?? The install puts it there by default, for a reason.

I don´t know, why it is gone,
but the server is working.

The only object with this problem is the "organization object"

Do you know, how could I repair this problem? (registry,..)

If it's only the Organization object with this problem, what is it that you are trying to set that needs permissions at this level?

I am not sure, if I have a problem with this.

I want to migrate to exchange 2003.
I want to install the new exchange 2003 into the same site and organization.

Is that a problem or not?
