Hello,

I am looking for a periodic block tridiagonal solver, preferably in fortran90. Could somebody please point me a free source? I have downloaded many software packages but they do not fit my purpose.

It is a real (not complex) variable solver, block are 2x2 and periodic.

Many thanks for reading,
Regards, Zuheyr

Isn't there anything about this in "Numerical Recipes for fortran 90"?

Just guessing...

The book in online I think in or so.

Hi, thank you for your response.
I checked the NR but as far as I can see there is no direct subroutine to use. Unfortunately.

I am very surprised that even in blas, linpack, fishpack I could not find it. Fishpack calls it block tridiagonal but it is in fact laplace equation.

I am very surprised.
Anyway, many thanks to you,
Kind regards,
Zuheyr
