Hi

Want to know if anyone can shed any light on this

We are tying to move the public store using the performance optimizer wizard from a single hard drive (120gb) to a set of raid 0+1 drives (160gb over four drives)

The file is 117gb and when the wizard starts to move the files we get this message

The File(s) could not be moved. The source or destination may not valid or files with the same name could not be overwritten -(800FF326)

Any help would be great

Thanks

James

Check that the new drive has no data on it.
Check that the existing single drive has nothing else put the PF on it.
Check that you have at least 117GB of free space on the TEMP drive.
You may need to defrag the PF to get it to move over.

I'm getting the same error message "The File(s) could not be moved. The source or destination may not valid or files with the same name could not be overwritten -(800FF326)"
as well when tryinbg to move only 2GB priv and 300 mb pub from 4 gb drive (running out of space).

I successfully moved the "pub" file to another drive location (single 40 GB drive) using optimzier but the my priv file was unsuccessful. I kept getting the same message above. Now that i have data stored (pub file) on the 40 gb drive, is there anyway i can also move the priv file (which that file is taking up majority of space on the 4 GB drive.

Can someone please help me out.

Thanks.

I was successful moving my pub file to another drive location using optimizer, but was unsuccessful moving my priv.
I'm getting the error message "The File(s) could not be moved. The source or destination may not valid or files with the same name could not be overwritten -(800FF326)"

Can someone please help...

What does "PF" mean?

Does #1. & #2. making since???

And #4., should the defrag be done on my exisi location or the new drive?

Help :(
