Hi, what are the best counters to use to see have much memory is being used and how much bandwidth on the network card is being used.

Task Manager for the Memory usage. On the Bandwidth Utilization, you will probably need a third party app.
XP has this built in, but not 2000 Server or WKST

For a quick look at memory, try the Task Manager, Performance Tab.

To create a log you need to run PerfMon. I always think that Available Bytes 10MB (watch the number of figures in the counter) is the best indicators.

Other will tell you page file above 20 is the crucial counter.
