Percent of Summary Field 1

I would like to show a percent field for the percent of equity portion of an account divided by the the sum of an accounts total market value. The equity field is a formula and the total market value is a sum of the tmv. I am unable to get this to work. Any help would be appreciated.

To perform a percent:

({equity portion of an account}/{sum of an accounts total market value})*100

If you provide an example of where these formulas are created, and why it isn't working you'll get more detailed help.
