Hello,
I was looking at an old computer. Pentium with MMX, on an off brand. And it wasn't booting so I replaced the memory and it booted up to system clock but no dos prompt.
wasn't seeing hard drive. I reconnected ribbon
now it sees hd and floppy
2 beeps were heard and you see cursur blinking
it doesn't acknowledge anything after that.
Do you think someone may have changed jumpers on the mb?
i can't tell what kind of mb it is.
???Where to begin?
