PDF995 error

I have a user trying to print to PDF995 (to create a .pdf document) and they receive the error "pdf995 was unable to execute: "c:\pdf995\res\drivedir\pdfsave.exe" pdf995. Users require write access to the \res folder and execute permission for \res\convert\gswin32c.exe, \res\drivedir\psconvert.exe and \res\drivedir\pdfsave.exe. Error: 3"

The user has full control of the c:\pdf995 directory and its subdirectories.

Anyone ever seen this?

Anything changed in Group Policy that could be preventing execution in that folder?

no - and it only affects this 1 user.

It might be worth reapplying the file permissions just to make absolutely sure there are no de-inherited permissions somewhere down the path.

I should mention that removing both the PDF995 application and the associated PDF995 printer driver, then reinstalling both seemed to fix it - musta been some corruption in the files.
