When I generate a .pdf from Impromptu6.0 the size of the file is about 480KB. I used the adobe distiller to print & print it and it reduced to 80KB. What I did is, eliminated all unncessary fonts.

Is there a way that I can configure pdf engine in Impromptu?

Or else, is there a way to print Impromptu thru distiller?? I am automating this thru VB. So.. to use distiller, I have to be able to answer all the prompts including the *.pdf filename* to save. I dont know howo anwser these prompts from VB? Has anyone tried before??

I don't used Distiller, but if you use PDFWriter as your printer and set it to automatically overwrite a fixed file name (to avoid the filename dialog), you can use it in a macro to create PDF files outside of the internal SaveAs PDF option.
