I have a mac with Ie 5.5 every time I click on a pdf it opens automatically, I would like it to automatically save instead, how do I change this.

Hi,
This is impossible. When you install the pdf plugin for IE, the MIME, settings are changed and IE wants to open the ile in the browser window. From there on you can save it to your disk.
Only if the settings on the server are changed you can have the possibility to save it.

what's the mac equivalent to right clicking on the link and selecting "save target as.." If it's IE you should be able to COMMAND-click (?) on the PDF link and select the "save target as.." option which will save the PDF to your harddrive.
