Hi,
I have a network of 1 PDC, 5 BDC's and 150+ workstations running NT 4 server/workstation. I have set-up timeserver through the timesvr.ini file so the whole domain synchronizes accordantly. At the moment the PDC isn’t pointing to an external source, as we need to install another modem for it to go and pick up the time. I am happy that the BDC's are picking up the time from the PDC and that the workstations are picking up the time from their local BDC. The problem is the PDC time is 4 min fast which in turn makes the whole domain 4 min fast. I have reset the time to the right time but if I check the time again the next day the time is 4 min fast again. I have double-checked the timesvr.ini file on the PDC and it is pointing at nothing also I have tried pointing the PDC to itself but still no joy. I have an idea that it could be the BIOS clock but I don't really won't to start shutting down the server. Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advanced.
